Mukhtar Ibrahim started Sahan Journal, a news site, six years ago. It was a smaller project that focused specifically on issues related to Somalia and East Africa.
But this week, he launched a robust site with a wider focus on all immigrant communities in Minnesota.
Ibrahim joined host Angela Davis to talk about how this new media site came to be and the stories that will be featured on the website.
