A bit of sad news from NewsCut. America's oldest documented bald eagle was killed by a car on a road in New York. "He was one of us — a Minnesotan who, like a lot of Minnesotans, moved away at a young age after an initial upbringing in northern Minnesota in the mid-'70s," writes blogger Bob Collins. The eagle was 38.
