Showers march north with decreasing clouds Tuesday
The latest round of showers will continue to move north Tuesday morning, pinwheeling around a surface low tracking straight across northern Minnesota.

Southern Minnesota will see skies clear, resulting in warmer temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s while northern Minnesota remains locked under clouds and scattered showers.

Highs Tuesday will be near 70 in southern Minnesota but just in the 50s and 40s north with the clouds and showers.

Wednesday will be mainly dry with increasing cloud cover. A spotty shower is possible, especially in far southern Minnesota, late. Highs will be near 70 degrees again in southern Minnesota.

Another round of showers develops Thursday into Thursday night for the state. That system will deliver more rainfall than this most recent disturbance.

Most of Friday and Saturday look mostly dry before yet another chance of showers moves in late Sunday into early next week.

We’ll also be warmer early next week, well into the 70s and potentially near 80 degrees by Monday. That means more energy and already there’s an early outlook for potentially strong storms Monday:
