Hopefully you got all your Easter celebrations in before the rain moved in.

We can expect steady showers in the Twin Cities region throughout the overnight hours. If you’re thinking ahead to the Monday morning commute, the rain should be gone by then but expect some road spray from wet conditions. Much of western and northwestern Minnesota stays dry with this round.

Temperatures are very favorable for those of you looking for spring to really settle in. Sunday nights’ lows drop to around 40 in the city and middle 30s in more rural areas.

Skies are expected to clear rather quickly after the rain moves out tomorrow. Monday shapes up nicely with the sun and highs near 60 if you can handle a little wind. Northwest winds are likely to gust up near 25 mph.

Showers are in the forecast again Monday night and another round before the week is out. But overnight lows stay well above freezing and we even have some 70s in the forecast. The trend for above average temperatures sticks around. Happy spring!
