Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with mild temperatures overnight. A low pressure system moving in will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, with a chance of light snow in northern areas.
Cloudy and mild overnight
After a day of above-average temperatures, Saturday night lows will stay mild, dropping into the upper 40s to low 50s for central and southern Minnesota, with 40s expected up north.

Cloud cover will continue to increase ahead of a low pressure system that will develop east of the Rockies. We will see on and off chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms starting as early as Sunday morning. The best chance for showers will be northern and eastern Minnesota.

As colder Canadian air wraps around the system, northern Minnesota could see a wintry mix Sunday night into Monday with less than an inch or two of snow accumulation.

Even warmer temperatures are expected on Sunday, with highs reaching the 50s in the north, 60s in central areas, and 70s in the south. It will be mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day.

Lingering showers, cloud cover and breezy northwest winds for Monday with cooler highs in the 40s and 50s expected.
