Our latest disturbance brings increased cloud cover and some spotty showers, mainly north, where it will mix with snow. Temperatures will continue their upward trend.
Showers and snow north along with warmer temps
After a few sunny days, clouds are increasing with our latest clipperlike disturbance moving through the region. We’ll have scattered rain showers in northern Minnesota with more isolated to spotty activity south.
The rain showers will mix with snow in northeastern Minnesota and the North Shore.

Slushy accumulation is possible in parts of northeastern Minnesota and the North Shore into Wednesday night.

Total precipitation through Thursday will be pretty light with this system with the highest amounts north.

It will be warmer across southern Minnesota where we’ll see more peeks of sunshine than northern Minnesota. Highs will range from the 60s in southwestern Minnesota to just the 30s in the Arrowhead Wednesday afternoon.

Clouds and some isolated to spotty showers will linger into Thursday. We’ll see cooler highs mostly in the 50s and 40s.

Sunshine returns with high pressure on Friday. Temperatures will continue to warm into the weekend with widespread 60s and even 70s for southern Minnesota.

The next chance at precipitation develops late Saturday into Sunday and Monday. Northern Minnesota could again see some snowfall while southern Minnesota sees some spotty showers or thunder, especially Sunday.
