We’re on a slow walk into spring this week. But this weekend looks like the springiest of the year, so far.
A weak weather system spinning southward through Minnesota Wednesday and Thursday will bring a few spotty showers The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s FV3 model below shows the system between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 p.m. Thursday.

This system is a bit moisture-starved. Precipitation will be mostly light.

A couple inches of snow is possible in northeastern Minnesota with this system. We’re not done with snowflakes in the north just yet.

A few showers may pop up Sunday, but temperatures will push into the 70s in much of southern Minnesota Sunday.
