Another pleasant spring day ahead! We’ll see sunshine all around with light winds to start the day. Temperatures will be warmer with highs returning to the mid to upper 50s. A cold front will bring increased winds out of the north for Sunday night.
Sunny spring day
Abundant sunshine will spread across the state on Sunday, bringing warmer temperatures with highs reaching the mid to upper 50s. Snow-covered areas will see temperatures in the 40s.

Winds will be calmer to start the day, but will pick up out of the west-northwest around 10-20 mph. As a cold front moves through, the wind direction will shift to the north.

Sunday night’s cold front will produce some isolated snow showers for the Arrowhead region. Less than an inch of accumulation is expected.

Low temperatures on Sunday night will be chilly, dipping into the mid-20s. Northern and central Minnesota can expect temperatures to drop into the teens.

Chilly Monday; warm up midweek
A surge of cold air will filter in behind the cold front. Highs on Monday will struggle to reach the 40s, and with a breezy north wind at 10-20 mph, it will feel like the 30s.

Seasonal temperatures will return on Tuesday, with plenty of sunshine. By Wednesday and Thursday, a couple of weak waves will move through, increasing cloud cover and bringing a chance of isolated rain showers to the region.
A very spring-like pattern will develop toward the end of the week, with highs returning to the 50s and 60s. The Climate Prediction Center’s 6-10 day temperature forecast indicates above-average chances for warmer weather.
