After three consecutive weekends of spring storms, a quieter weather pattern is a welcome change. High pressure will keep skies clear on Saturday night, allowing temperatures to drop into the 20s across the state, with low 30s possible in the metro area.

Northwest to west winds will gradually diminish overnight into early Sunday morning.

A warmer day is in the forecast for Sunday, with high temperatures returning to seasonal values in the low to mid-50s. However, it will remain a bit cool up north with temperatures in the 30s, and in the 40s for central Minnesota.

A brief surge of cold air will keep temperatures well below average, remaining in the 30s, with the metro area struggling to reach the 40s for Monday.

Spring-like temperatures will return midweek, with 60s making their way into southwestern Minnesota. A warmer weather pattern will settle in for the rest of the week and into next weekend.
The coming week looks to offer minimal chances for significant precipitation, with only a possibility of light showers on Wednesday.
