Our latest snowstorm is moving off to the northeast, leaving behind lingering cloud cover and cooler temperatures as we approach the weekend.
Early Thursday satellite imagery shows our recent snowstorm moving north of Lake Superior into Ontario. On Thursday, we’ll see some breaks in the lingering cloud cover, which should help clear the pavement and sidewalks.
Highs mostly in the 30s, 40s this weekend

Current snow depth data reveals that west-central, central, and the North Shore received the heaviest snowfall from our latest system.

Temperatures will remain cooler, staying below the average high of the low 50s typically seen in early April.
Highs heading into the weekend will stay in the 30s and 40s through Sunday, with a few low 50s showing up in southern Minnesota.

A shift in the weather pattern will bring temperatures in the 60s and possibly 70s back into the forecast by the end of next week. Spring is just around the corner!
