Heavy snow showers will persist across northern Minnesota until early Monday morning. Skies will clear, and breezy winds will ease overnight. Expect above-average temperatures for the upcoming workweek, with occasional chances for light precipitation.

Our winter storm warnings, and winter weather advisories will continue for northern Minnesota. A wind advisory continues until 7 p.m. for southwestern Minnesota.

Additional snow totals range from a few inches to almost half a foot for the North Shore.

Here are the snow totals reported as of early Sunday:

Low temperatures will dip into the upper 20s for the metro area, with teens expected in the northern regions. Central and southern Minnesota will experience temperatures in the 20s. Skies will gradually clear from west to east as weak high pressure moves into the area.

The work week will bring lighter winds and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will warm up to around 50 degrees, with the northern areas seeing highs in the 30s and central regions reaching the mid to upper 40s.

A northwest flow pattern aloft will bring chances for light precipitation on Tuesday and Friday. Overall, a warming trend will continue this week, with high temperatures reaching the 60s and 70s by Thursday and Friday.
