Snow totals stacked up across the southern half of Minnesota as March definitely roared in like a lion. Numerous spots received more than a month's worth of snow overnight. Let’s take a look at which areas got the most.

  • Dennison — 13 inches

  • Credit River, Lakeville — 12 inches

  • Nerstrand — 11.9 inches

  • Woodbury — 11.8 inches

  • Elko New Market — 11.5 inches

  • Newport — 11.3 inches

  • Apple Valley — 11.1 inches

  • Owatonna, Montgomery, Stillwater — 11 inches

  • Minnesota Lake — 10.9 inches

  • Eagan; Prior Lake; River Falls, Wis. —10.5 inches

  • Richfield — 10.4 inches

  • Ellendale — 10.2 inches

  • Inver Grove Heights, Kenyon, Savage, Wells — 10 inches

  • Cottage Grove, Northfield — 9.8 inches

  • Hudson, Wis. — 9.7 inches

  • Miesville — 9.6 inches

  • MSP Airport — 9.5 inches

  • North St. Paul — 9.2 inches

  • Oakdale, Shoreview, Mendota — 9 inches

  • South St. Paul — 8.7 inches

Any additional snowfall will primarily affect east-central and southeastern Minnesota, where a few more inches could accumulate. The Twin Cities might see another inch or less.
