A calm Sunday night followed by a mild Monday with high temperatures warming into the 50s, and possibly reaching our first 60-degree day of the year in southwestern Minnesota. We're keeping an eye on a strong spring storm set to hit Tuesday into Wednesday, which could bring some travel disruptions to the area.

Clear skies and light south winds are expected for Sunday night, with temperatures dipping into the upper 20s to low 30s. The northeastern areas may see temperatures drop into the teens.

On Tuesday, with warmer temperatures, expect all rain. However, as the low-pressure system strengthens, it will pull in colder air, switching the precipitation to all snow by late Tuesday night into early Wednesday.

Plowable snow, potentially over 2 inches, is possible, and gusty northwest winds behind the cold front will create blowing snow, leading to hazardous travel conditions.
