Week of busy weather

Beginning Sunday night, the first of several weather disturbances will move across the Upper Midwest. A surface low pressure system will track from northern Manitoba into Ontario, bringing a wave of energy that will produce precipitation for the northland.

Low temperatures tonight will play a key role in determining the type of precipitation across the Arrowhead, where temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s to low 30s. A wintry mix is likely, with the potential for some light freezing rain. Overall, temperatures will remain relatively mild, mostly in the mid-30s.
