A cloud deck spreading across Northern Minnesota could produce some light rain or flurries Sunday afternoon and night. Clouds take over more of the region Monday afternoon with about a 30 percent chance of light rain.

Low temperatures Sunday night into Monday morning stay very mild in the 30s.

Monday then features highs ranging from upper 30s north to mid-50s near Marshall with around 45 expected in the Twin Cities metro.

A low pressure system sweeps the region Tuesday night with a widespread chance of rain and snow. Precipitation type is a bit in question, but a dusting of snow is possible.

Behind that system, it’ll be a touch cooler, but we will still have 30s and 40s abound across the state Wednesday through Friday.

This above-normal stretch looks to come to an end next weekend as we trend cooler to kick off the month of March.
