We’ll spend one more night below zero before our merited warmup begins, with a gradual warming trend from the 20s on Friday to the 30s on Saturday, and even reaching the 40s by Sunday.

Subzero nights this season

Another subzero night was recorded Thursday morning, with a low of 1 below zero. This marks the 27th subzero night of the winter season.

In comparison, the 2023-24 season only saw six subzero nights, meaning we've already quadrupled that total.

When it comes to the average number of subzero nights in a season, we're slightly above the typical 22.
