January thaw begins
Mild Pacific air will usher in spring-like temperatures this week, with highs in the 30s, 40s, and possibly even reaching the 50s.
Monday expect high temperatures in the upper 30s, with 40s showing up in our southern counties.

A brief clipper system will skirt northern Minnesota into western Wisconsin late Tuesday, briefly cooling our temperatures down on Wednesday into the low 30s. However, by Thursday and Friday highs will jump right back up into the low 40s, eradicating whatever snow is left.
If temperatures stay above 32 degrees starting Monday, we could wrap up January with a five-plus day stretch of a January thaw.
