Rising temperatures overnight into Sunday morning will pave the way for a mild day. A clipper system is expected to bring a light mix of snow and freezing drizzle. The upcoming holiday week will remain warm with no travel disruptions anticipated.

The cold air has moved out, and temperatures are expected to warm into the 20s and 30s for Sunday. Expect partly sunny skies with southeast winds at 5-10 mph. 

Tonight, lows will only drop to the mid-20s in southeastern Minnesota, while cooler temperatures in the single digits and teens are expected for the western and northwestern regions.

A clipper system will move through late Sunday night into Monday. Due to the dry air in place, it will be challenging for the system to fully saturate, so we can expect only light, cosmetic snow at most. There is a chance for light freezing drizzle early Monday morning, particularly closer to western Wisconsin. 

The holiday week is shaping up to be quiet, with no major weather disruptions expected for the Upper Midwest. Looking at things nationally, the main storm systems will be along the West Coast, and the southeastern United States. 

Closer to home, we will see continued warm temperatures in the 30s and even some 40s possible by the end of the week for southeastern Minnesota.
