Our wintry mix of sleet, freezing rain, and snow will come to an end Saturday night as the system moves eastward. Meanwhile, warm air will continue to flow in, with temperatures rising into the mid-30s by Sunday and lasting into Monday.

Additional light glaze is possible early Saturday night, mainly affecting eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Dense fog will begin to develop Saturday night into early Sunday, with a dense fog advisory in effect for central and southern Minnesota. As temperatures remain at or below freezing, there is a risk of freezing fog in some areas.

Temperatures will steadily rise overnight and remain mild throughout the night.

Highs on Sunday will be above average, reaching the mid 30s, but low cloud cover and fog will overshadow the day. 

A very active weather pattern this week with multiple systems affecting different parts of the state. Sunday night into Monday a surface low tracks across the Canadian Provinces and into the Great Lakes. Tuesday into Tuesday night, we could see some light snow for southern Minnesota and Thursday into Friday another system affect northern Minnesota. 

Despite all these systems, only minor accumulation is expected. Temperatures will start to fluctuate again, with warm highs on Monday, followed by a cold front and a cooldown mid-week, then a return to milder temperatures later in the week.
