Our wintry air mass has arrived with scattered snow showers across Minnesota.
The system has produced accumulating snow as forecast in much of western Minnesota, including the Red River Valley.
Here are some snowfall totals from Wednesday morning across the region, in inches:
Fargo area, 3.5
Wolverton, 3
Cormorant, 1.7
Karlstad, 1.6
Remer, 1.1
Madison, 1
Morris, 1
Scattered snow showers will continue through Wednesday evening.

Forecast models suggest a more vigorous band of snow could slide across the greater Twin Cities area late Wednesday afternoon and early evening.

Treated roads are mainly wet. But use caution on untreated pavement as it may get icy through Thursday morning.
