Following Halloween's snowfall, cooler temperatures in the 40s will settle in. Light rain showers may occur in western Minnesota but warmer air is on the way for the weekend!
Cooler Friday, return to Octoberlike warmth this weekend
We’ll be starting our Friday with sunshine and gentle breezes. However, cloud cover will gradually increase from the west as a small disturbance brings light rain showers to western Minnesota.
Temperatures will be cooler for Friday with highs warming into the mid to upper 40s, with cooler low 40s to the north.
Some dense fog could develop overnight as temperatures drop into the upper 30s to low 40s.

Warm and wet weekend ahead
A change in our weather pattern will bring more Gulf moisture northward, creating several chances for beneficial rainfall from Sunday through Tuesday. Some areas might receive 1 to 2 inches of rain!

Our temperatures this weekend will warm back to above our seasonal average, which is around 50 degrees.
There are no major cold air outbreaks expected in the near future, as our six to 10-day temperature outlook indicates above-average temperatures. It looks like we’ll be enjoying a warmer stretch ahead!
