 has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 10 p.m. for much of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin and northern Iowa. The watch zone includes the greater Twin Cities area.

Storms with large hail and damaging winds are possible in the watch zone. A tornado can’t be ruled out. The most likely window for storms across the Twin Cities is between 4 and 8 pm from west to east.

Be ready for possible warnings in your area.
