Decreasing clouds, patchy fog overnight. Very nice Sunday.

Clouds will decrease overnight leading to patchy fog. Sunday will be sun-filled and dry with warmer temperatures. Most of the week’s first half is dry for most.

A drier, brighter pattern returns 

Any spotty showers and patchy cloudiness will decrease through the night Saturday night as our system that’s lingered the last few days moves out.

Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 60s in the Twin Cities metro with readings near 60 in southern Minnesota and 50s north. We’ll also see patchy fog in central and southern Minnesota into western Wisconsin where muggy air lingers, combined with clearing skies.

Sunday looks gorgeous with sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s across southern Minnesota and upper 70s northeast. We’ll see just a few afternoon fair weather cumulus clouds.

The first half of next week looks largely dry for most with plenty of sunshine and slightly above normal temperatures in the upper 70s and low to mid 80s. Western and northern Minnesota will see the chance of some thunder by midweek.
