Cold winds continue Friday with snow showers north

A chilly air mass will generate a lot of clouds quickly Friday morning as strong April sunshine and moisture generate instability with cold temps aloft. In those clouds snow showers will develop for northern Minnesota.

This next system doesn’t look to be a soaker like the last couple of storm systems. A widespread one-quarter to one-half inch looks more likely for rainfall amounts.
