We’re in the final hours of the biggest snowfall of the season for much of Minnesota.
Our three-day storm slogged slowly through the Upper Midwest. The result was a snow, to rain, back-to-snow pattern for the Twin Cities and much of southern Minnesota.
Up north, it’s been mostly snow. Some impressive snowfall totals are coming in from central and northern Minnesota.

The Twin Cities storm total snowfall including Sunday’s snow was 11.7 inches. We’ll likely add a little bit to that by the time the snow ends Tuesday evening.
Cooler though midweek
Wednesday brings a chilly breeze but more sunshine will emerge through Thursday.
Highs Wednesday will hover in the 20s across Minnesota.
By Friday, temperatures will begin to moderate and the 40s will return to the south.
The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts model suggests highs back into the 50s in the Twin Cities by next Thursday.
