A few rain and snow showers are possible Thursday into early Friday. It will be cooler Friday and Saturday before warming back up next week, but we should see lots of weekend sunshine.
A few rain and snow showers; cooler Friday
A cool front is touching off a few rain and snow showers Thursday across central Minnesota.
Another system coming in from the south will clip southeastern Minnesota Thursday night into Friday, bringing another chance of some relatively minor precipitation.
Thursday will still be mild in southeastern Minnesota, but highs will be in just the 20s in northwestern Minnesota.

A colder night is on the way for most Thursday night, though readings will still be above normal across southern Minnesota.
The colder air is just a wedge passing through the region into Saturday with conditions already warming up Sunday again.
Friday and Saturday will see highs in the 40s south and 30s north. That’s still above normal for most.
The weekend will bring lots of sunshine and warmer temperatures by Sunday into early next week.
Highs by Monday and Tuesday are still on track to be in the 60s across southern Minnesota.
