Friday will be cooler and breezy. Highs will be in the 30s south to just teens far north. We warm right back up this weekend into early next week.
Near normal Friday before warming back up
We’ll have a mix of clouds and sun and a cooler day Friday. Temps are starting cold, in the teens and single digits to the north. Highs will be in the mid 30s south to the upper teens in far northern Minnesota. Only northern Minnesota will see slightly below normal temperatures while southern Minnesota’s highs will still be a few degrees above the normal for the date (32 degrees for the Twin Cities).
Friday night will be chilly with lows in the teens across southern Minnesota with more single digits north.
We’ll warm things right back up for the weekend, back into the 10 to 15 degrees above normal territory. It should also be dry with plenty of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday.
We’re looking at even warmer air coming Monday with highs well into the 50s and even some 60s for southern Minnesota.
Midweek we’ll see temperatures drop, at least briefly, and that combined with a storm system could bring some rain and snow to Minnesota. We’ll have to monitor that over the weekend. Stay tuned!
