Happy Valentine’s Day!

Temperatures drop Wednesday night into Thursday and Friday with highs of 24 and 19, respectively. Temperatures will warm to the mid-30s over the weekend, expected to be mostly sunny and somewhat breezy.

Wednesday marks a day of action and remembrance for missing and murdered Indigenous people, with marches and events across the state, including in Fargo-Moorhead.

Is it March 1 yet? The classic downtown Moorhead Dairy Queen is celebrating its 75th year.

One man died and three other people were airlifted to the Twin Cities for treatment after a house fire Wednesday morning in Alexandria. Two other residents of the home, and two first responders, also were injured.

Staying in tonight? For Valentine’s Day, MPR News spoke with six Minnesota authors about their upcoming romance novels, all set in our favorite state.

Thursday events in Fargo-Moorhead include Doggie Date Night, Raclette Cheese Night, a movie screening of “UNDIVIDE US” and live music: “art-rock-turned-punk/metal mutants CHILD BITE,” as donned by Jade Presents.

The Fargo Comedy Fest is Friday and Saturday.
