Mild start to the week with midweek snow possible then colder

Above-normal temperatures continue for the first half of the week. Snow showers develop Wednesday into Thursday followed by below normal temperatures for a change.

Mild then midweek snow showers 

A weak clipper system will bring a few flurries and more clouds to northern Minnesota but southern Minnesota should see sunshine and warmer conditions. Highs will be in the upper 30s to near 40 south to upper 20s northeast.

Those readings are still about 8 to 13 degrees above normal for the date. Overnight temps will dip into the 20s to teens under partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday will see scattered clouds and highs again in the low 40s southwest to near 30 in northeastern Minnesota.

The next disturbance will develop snow showers across many portions of Minnesota Wednesday into Thursday. Accumulations are looking increasingly likely for many places but likely under a couple inches.
