Weekend weather: Mainly dry, with 30s south and 20s in northern Minnesota

Light snow showers chances Saturday night, early Sunday in northern Minn.

After several days of April-like warmth, Friday’s 20s and 30s might feel chilly. We’re just shifting closer to typical February weather.

The average Feb. 10 Twin Cities high temperature is 27 degrees. Metro area highs are expected to reach the mid 30s on Saturday.

Roughly the southern half of Minnesota and much of western Wisconsin will top out in the 30s Saturday afternoon, with mainly 20s in northern Minnesota:

A few spots in southwestern Minnesota could touch 40 degrees Sunday afternoon.

Mainly dry

Most of the weekend is expected to be dry. There could be a few flurries in portions of northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin early Saturday. Parts of northern Minnesota could see scattered light snow showers Saturday night into Sunday morning.
