More mild, foggy weather Friday. Warmer still next week

Fog and clouds continue to sit over much of Minnesota Friday. We’ll see very similar conditions from Thursday with highs in the 30s Friday. Even warmer weather is coming next week. 

Continued fog and above normal temperatures 

We will have more fog and more freezing fog where temperatures are near or below the freezing mark early Friday. Dense fog advisories are in effect through 10 a.m. Friday in southern Minnesota, with a winter weather advisory due to freezing drizzle through noon in northwest Minnesota.

High temperatures will be back in the upper 30s across southern Minnesota.

The weekend will bring more mild weather with highs mostly in the 30s. Saturday will likely remain mostly cloudy for most of us.

Sunday could yield more in the way of sunshine into early next week as this stagnant pattern gives way to even warmer weather.

Highs by midweek next week could be in record territory, well into the 40s. The record high in the Twin Cities Wednesday is 46 degrees.
