How about sunshine?

West-central Minnesota and parts of southwestern Minnesota appear to have the best chance of seeing sunshine on Saturday. Some of that sunshine could spread eastward during the afternoon. I’d say that the Twin Cities metro area could see a few glimpses of sun Saturday afternoon.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale Forecast System model shows the potential cloud coverage from 7 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Saturday:

There’s one forecast model that’s much more generous with Saturday sunshine. Here’s the simulated cloud cover shown by NOAA’s Finite-Volume Cubed Sphere (FV3) forecast model:

You can expect more clouds than sun on Sunday.
