Precipitation chances

Parts of northern Minnesota could see a wintry mix at times Sunday night into Monday morning. The wintry mix could include a combination of light snow, sleet and patchy light freezing rain or freezing drizzle.

A low pressure system passing to the south could deliver light snow to far southeastern Minnesota on Tuesday, with higher precipitation chances (snow and rain or a mix) in eastern Iowa and southern Wisconsin. A separate batch of light snow is possible Tuesday in northeastern Minnesota.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s North American Mesoscale Forecast System model shows the potential precipitation pattern from 4 a.m. Tuesday to 4 p.m. Tuesday:
