Cold winds today, with light snow possible

There’s plenty of cold air sitting over Minnesota right now, and even colder air will ride in on northwesterly winds today and tonight.

Some of us will also see some light snow at times today.

A blizzard warning continues today in southwestern Minnesota, with a winter weather advisory in south-central and southeastern Minnesota:

A winter weather advisory continues until 9 p.m. today from Mankato to Albert Lea, for light snow and blowing snow.

The wind chill advisory in the Twin Cities metro area begins at 9 p.m. Saturday and continues until noon on Sunday. Wind chills could approach 35 degrees below zero at times.
