Light snow up to 1 inch should start in eastern North Dakota on Tuesday afternoon through sunrise. By Wednesday morning, that same system is expected to move into west centra Minnesota. By Thursday, some areas in eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota could have 2 to 3 inches. The National Weather Service says areas along Highway 200 corridor and north will see persistent light snow through Thursday night.
Be cautious when traveling Wednesday night into Thursday, with drifting snow lowering visibility and making roads slippery.
The NWS also says “frigid air will move into the area for late this week through early next week, resulting in hazardous wind chills at times.”
