Quiet Sunday weather, then snow returns
Parts of northern and central Minnesota could see scattered light snow showers Sunday morning, with a stray flurry possible elsewhere in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
A low pressure sytem will spread accumulating snow across several states Sunday night through Monday and into early Tuesday.

Notice that parts of southwestern Minnesota could see 6 inches or more of snow.
Twin Cities metro area snow amounts look to be in the 2 to 3 inch range, based on new forecast model info. The metro area could see light snow at times during the daylight hours of Monday, with steadier snow Monday night into early Tuesday.
Parts of southeastern South Dakota and northeastern Nebraska could see double-digit snow totals from the storm:

Rock County of far southwestern Minnesota is in a winter storm watch from 11 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
