Today in Fargo-Moorhead: A slippery winter weather advisory

Happy weekend.

Light snow and freezing drizzle have made for a slippery morning. Road and sidewalk conditions are hazardous, per the National Weather Service, prompting a winter weather advisory Wednesday. Expect conditions to persist through Wednesday evening.

Friday comes with clouds and a chance of snow, but most flakes are expected to fall overnight into Saturday (1 to 3 inches). Highs are around 30 Friday and 20 this weekend.

Monday is Moorhead and Fargo’s city council meetings. Check out their agendas on the city websites: Moorhead and Fargo.

“The Color Purple” and “Poor Things” are playing at the Fargo Theatre. Fargo Undergound has the reviews.

Comedy? Hypnosis? Both? Yes: The Rob Johnson Comedy Hypnosis Show is Saturday at the Four and Four. You’re getting very … giggly.

On Monday, Junkyard Brewery is hosting a Midwest martini night and B-I-N-G-O. Emphasis on Midwest.

“The Painted Eye” is playing at The Rourke Micro-Theatre from 1-5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. It’s a documentary of artist Jerry Rudquist painting a self-portrait.
