We’ll see a very seasonable Thursday with plenty of sun and temperatures near normal, mostly in the 70s. The holiday weekend still looks dry for most with warmer than normal temperatures.
Warm, dry weather prevails
Thursday will be pretty seasonable with highs in the 70s for most. While southern Minnesota will see similar high temperatures to yesterday, this will be a significant improvement from yesterday north. The North Shore will still be a bit cooler, but warmer, in the 60s.

We’ll have plenty of sunshine too with just some scattered morning clouds. Upper level smoke should clear by late in the day for much of the state too but there will still be pockets of moderate air quality.
It’ll be another cool night north and east but not quite as cold as early this morning.

Highs Friday will be warmer, back in the 70s and 80s for most and will trend upward into the weekend.

A persistent upper level ridge will keep things warm and dry for most right through the Memorial Day holiday. Most showers and storms will stay west and travel north around the ridge. A few showers are possible especially later in the weekend in northwest Minnesota.

We have a real possibility of our first 90(s) next week.
