Many parts of northern Minnesota are reporting more than a foot of snow from the winter storm that moved across the region over the weekend.

The highest snow measurement reported to the National Weather Service in Duluth by a weather spotter was 20.1 inches, about 5 miles north-northwest of Grand Marais.

The Weather Service also received a report of an estimated 18 inches of snow at Golden Eagle Lodge, off the Gunflint Trail about 20 miles north of Grand Marais.

Other top snow totals reported by spotters included 17.2 inches just west of Grand Marais, 16 inches at Finland, 15 inches near Chisholm, and 14 inches in several locations: Hibbing, Bemidji, Lutsen, Wales and Solway.

Here’s a roundup of snowfall reports from weather spotters around Minnesota as of 1:45 p.m. Monday, as relayed by the National Weather Service.
