U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., spoke Wednesday at the National Press Club in Washington about the investigations into the Trump administration, drug pricing and more.

He is chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

The appearance was booked before President Trump attacked Rep. Cummings on Twitter. The President called out some of the conditions within the city Baltimore, which Cummings represents in Congress.

During his speech, Cummings called on Trump to visit Baltimore.

"I want him to come and look at my entire city. I'll ride with him for hours if he asked to," Cummings said. "I want him to see all the wonderful things that are happening."

Cummings also addressed the recent wave of mass-shootings in the U.S.
