It's another murky morning over parts of eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

The National Weather Service continues a dense fog advisory (which includes the Twin Cities metro area) until 10 a.m. Friday:

MORNING...

* VISIBILITY...one quarter mile or less.

* IMPACTS...Limited visibilities will make travel difficult.

With temperatures below freezing, freezing fog could lead to

slick spots on untreated surfaces.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be

reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...

use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Some areas of freezing fog are possible this morning, so some sidewalks, driveways and roads could become slick.

The Twin Cities metro area portion of the dense fog advisory has been canceled by the NWS. The dense fog advisory continues until 10 a.m. for southeastern Minnesota and parts of west-central Wisconsin:

Temperature trends

Most of Minnesota will see Friday afternoon highs in the 30s, but lower 40s are possible in west-central and southwestern Minnesota. The Twin Cities metro area could reach about 36 degrees.

Our average high this time of year is 27 degrees in the Twin Cities metro area.
