We've turned the corner on spring in Minnesota.
Most of us picked up some much needed rainfall with wave No. 1. Rainfall totals between one-quarter inch and 1 inch were common from the Twin Cities north. Many southern Minnesota towns recorded rainfall totals in excess of 1 inch.
Green on the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network cooperative observers map below represents one-quarter inch to sixty-one one-hundredths of an inch of rainfall. Yellow represents sixty-two one-hundredths of an inch to 1.47 inches.

Temperature speed bump

Early last frost?
It seems impossible, but it looks like we're record the last spring frost about five days earlier than average in the Twin Cities. The last time we hit freezing at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport was April 20 at 28 degrees.
If we go frost free, that's five days earlier than the average of April 25.
