Much of Minnesota woke up to snow, ice-covered roads and winds that made it feel more like February than Easter weekend.
And the National Weather Service is forecasting record-cold temperatures heading into Sunday.

Official snow totals as of 7 a.m. measured 5.9 inches in St. Cloud, 3 inches in Chanhassen and 2.8 inches at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport, according to the National Weather Service.
The Pine County community of Bruno received 12.8 inches of snow, the most in Minnesota.
Cold and winds also made roads slippery throughout the state as officials urged motorist to use caution when driving.

Sunday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 34 in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
