Meteorological spring arrived March 1, and astronomical spring happens at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. It's the vernal equinox, when the northern and southern hemispheres have the same amount of daylight.
But actual spring in Minnesota? That could be a ways off.
We set out to see what "official" spring looks like, while we wait for the real thing get here. There are some signs out there, but not all of them pretty. We asked you to share on Instagram some of what gives you hope that warmer weather will arrive — eventually.
