Round one of our current snow-fest continues into early Friday morning. NOAA's NAM 12-km resolution model shows our overnight snow tapering off Friday morning.
Plowable
Snowfall forecasts through Friday morning remain pretty similar to what we've been saying for a few days now. A widespread area of 2" to 5" will fall, with some locally heavier totals. Some local 6"+ totals are possible from the Twin Cities through Duluth and the North Shore.

Friday AM rush will be a challenge. My personal observation driving home from MPR tonight is this snow at warmer temperatures is a little more "sticky" than what we've seen the past few weeks at colder temperatures. Better traction for driving, but tougher to shovel with the higher water content.
Weekend snow blitz
