The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office said 51-year-old Mark Elliot of Hamburg, Minn., died Wednesday. He was critically injured Monday when authorities say 63-year-old Robert Johnson of Zimmerman, Minn., drove his SUV into a Zimmerman business, continuing into the building for as much as 40 feet. Three other people were injured.
Johnson had previously been charged with criminal vehicular operation resulting in various degrees of bodily harm and driving while impaired. He now faces a criminal vehicular homicide charge.
Johnson has already made one court appearance and is scheduled back in court on Oct. 11.
