Monday's oral arguments before the Minnesota Supreme Court on a case pitting Gov. Mark Dayton and the Republican-controlled Legislature will be livestreamed online so anyone with a computer can watch and listen to the proceedings.
It's the beginning of a new era for Minnesota's highest court.
Starting Monday all oral arguments before the court will be broadcast live on the internet. It's a victory for those who have been trying to open more Minnesota court proceedings to the electronic media.
Attorney Mark Anfinson represents several media companies, including Minnesota Public Radio, who want to get cameras and microphones into Minnesota courtrooms. He spoke with MPR's Cathy Wurzer.
