It's been a warm June across Minnesota, but we're looking for cool high temps this Sunday afternoon.
Highs will be in the 60s in much of northern and central Minnesota, with some lower 70s in the south.
Similar highs are expected on Monday:
Twin Cities metro area highs rebound to around 76 on Tuesday, and we're expected to hit 80 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday.

Twin Cities warm streak
The average high temperature in the Twin Cities metro area starts at 74 degrees on June 1, and has now risen to 80 degrees.
The official Twin Cities high temp at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has been above normal every day this month:
We had a close call on June 11, when the high temp of 79 degrees was just one degree above normal for that date.
This Sunday afternoon, we'll have our first cooler than normal high temp of June 2017 in the Twin Cities metro area.
Rain chances
Minnesota could see some very scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm Sunday afternoon and evening.
We could also see a passing shower/thunderstorm Monday afternoon and evening.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential rain pattern:
It'll probably rain in some areas that look dry in the radar loop, but the general pattern is illustrated.
By the way, the color chart to the right of the loop refers to the strength of the signal that returns to the radar, not to the amount of rain.
Our best chance of showers and thunderstorms in the coming week appears to be on Wednesday and Wednesday evening.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Global Forecast System model shows the potential rain pattern for that period:
The color chart to the right of the loop shows the rainfall rate (mm per hour) not the amount of rain.
Very hot in Phoenix
The updated forecast for Phoenix, Arizona shows a high temp of 113 degrees today.
High temps over 115 degrees are expected Monday through Wednesday, with 120 degrees in the Tuesday forecast:
Low temperatures of 90 degrees are forecast for Monday night and Tuesday night.
An excessive heat warning is in effect today through Thursday for the Phoenix area.
Some daily high temperature records will probably be set this week in Phoenix.
Here's part of the Phoenix NWS office's weather discussion that was posted Sunday morning:
Monday through Thursday will be the days that we likely tie or
break records. And, if we remain at or above 115 these days, which
is likely, we will tie the record for the number of consecutive
days at or above 115 which was originally set in 1968
