A tornado watch in effect until 2 am for most of western Minnesota bumps up to the western edge of the Twin Cities.
Storms continue to develop and move slowly eastward this evening. The highest risk for severe storms still favors western Minnesota.
The best chance for storms in the Twin Cities arrives in the hours surrounding midnight. A few models now suggest storms may fade as they approach the Twin Cities later tonight. Here's NOAA's HRRR model.
