Thunderstorms will be rolling across much of Minnesota this morning and early this afternoon.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's North American Mesoscale forecast model shows the potential rain pattern:
Additional thunderstorms are possible this evening, especially from eastern Minnesota into Wisconsin.

Update: A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until noon for much of southern and central Minnesota and western Wisconsin:

The Storm Prediction Center of the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 a.m. for much of west-central and southwestern Minnesota:
As the thunderstorms spread eastward, severe weather is also possible in parts of eastern Minnesota.
